After my little epistle from this morning, I got the comment from several “food-providing” entrepreneurs (it was not only a restaurant owner, but also a caterer and a food truck owner) that they only have these now-buyers.
That is not completely true.
Yes, most people are the “drop-in’s”, but you also have clients who enjoyed the time with you, in your restaurant, eating your food. These people will return to you, because they had a good time.
So what do you do to keep them coming back?
You ask them for a email address. When they give their email address and/or phone number and permission to contact them, they will enter into a draw for a free meal at the end of the month.
With the information, you can keep them updated with menu changes, new wines in the selection, employer changes, just everything what is joyful to share with them. And of coarse you use it to keep them updated if they won the free meal and if not them, who did.
Endless opportunities, don’t you think?
