For years I have done my utmost best to get followers. Not only on this site, but on social media especially.

Over time I learned a lot about social media and how to “work” it. And finding followers is a part of it.

It is not that difficult to get followers. I can use this site as example. Since I started again with getting these small post out, the amount of followers increased again.

I would have been very happy about it a couple of years ago, but nowadays I am picky. I like the followers who can use the information I bring out there. Even if they never become a client of me. I even don’t mind followers who use this site as a step up to their businesses, but I do mind it if they just do it without any permission.

Most of the times these kind of “followers” are not real followers, but just spammers.

Coming back to the amount of followers you get through your website or Facebook or Instagram or any other social media, in general the amount of followers isn’t that important. The quality of followers is what is important.

So how can you get more followers who are good for business?

One option is to pay for advertisement. Another option is asking your present followers to share your posts and information with people who can use it too.

You can even add an “special” gift to make it more attractive to share your information or to become an follower too. This special gift is called a “lead magnet” and can be everything between a free e-book, a report, a gift card, any thing.
