My horses

I have 7 horses to take care of. Sounds as a lot of work which sometimes is, but basically I just turn them out in the morning, feed them, take care of the water, clean the stalls and bring them in again at night.

In the summer I am more busy. A lot of fences need to be repaired and replaced and because I love it to make it easy for myself I decided I wanted white fences and no barbed wire. That means a lot of painting and placing posts on an exact distance of 8 feet (length of the board) apart from each other, in a straight line. No problem would you say till you find a big rock exactly on the spot where your post is supposed to be placed on a depth of 2 feet. Sooo.. after spending an hour digging a hole you only have 6 inches to go and bang…. there he is. Your friend “big stone”. 3 Hours later your post is finally on the right spot. Only 39 more to do this summer.

Good thing is that it looks awesome when it is finally done and that’s why I keep going.
